Agnieszka Zahaczewska-Książek – piano

The members of Trio Legend are graduates of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków and doctoral students at the academies of music in Katowice and Kraków. In their present line-up, they have collected prizes at the Eighth International Johannes Brahms Chamber Music Competition in Gdańsk (2018), the Masters’ Tournament during the Fifth Chamber Music Tournament in Three Scenes in Bydgoszcz (2018) and the Twenty-Sixth Johannes Brahms International Competition in Pörtschach (2019). Thanks to the success achieved at these competitions they were awarded the Guarneri Trio Prague scholarship, on which they could take part in master classes held in Wengen (Switzerland) and Schlitz (Germany).

In 2020, Trio Legend took part in several online concerts as part of such projects as the Polish Music Experience, the Thirtieth International Festival of Young Laureates of Music Competitions, the Partnership for Music 2.0 programme and the ÖHome Kunstuniversität Graz series. The ensemble have had the privilege of collaborating with some chamber music greats, such as Ida Bieler, Stephan Goerner, Marek Jerie, Josef Klusoň, Ivan Klánský, Ulrich Koella, Charles Richard-Hamelin, Maria Szwajger-Kułakowska, Wiesław Kwaśny and Kaja Danczowska. The trio members are currently studying chamber music with Chia Chou at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG).
